Madame sighed and shook her head. "Alright." She pulled away from Hibernious a little. "I'm going for a walk. I need to think. I'll be back soon." She stretched up onto the tips of her toes and kissed his cheek. "I just don't feel up to dealing with the rest of the drama that's involved in setting up. I need a bit of a break."

"alright madame" he said with a sigh. he didn't like her walks because they usually took a few hours, which was much longer than he liked her being away. "i love you. i will get everything set up." he kissed her back and then turned as she walked away. he sighed again. You know, he thought, sometimes i wish i wasn't ageless. that way i could say i'm to old for this. or am i to old for this because i'm ageless... he quickly abandoned the line of thought. it wouldn't help. he walked into the center of the campsite, feeling as though he was being abandoned once again, and sat down, so anybody who needed help could come ask.

Madame walked briskly, not thinking much of where she was going, just that she needed to move. She wandered around the field for a few minutes before finding herself back amid the bustle of setup. She straightened out a few misunderstandings regarding performance time and set up. She sighed and rubbed the bridge of her nose, she felt a headache coming on. She soon found Mr. Tall and sat down next to him. She smiled up. "You know, I think I'm getting too old for this."

"i was thinking the same thing about myself... ah well." he said, mind racing. he'd had to help set up six tents since she left, and break up two fights. the setup was bitter work, but it had to be done to insure the longevity of the cirque. they had to keep going, keep moving, always. that was what the cirque was though. a place to go when you had no where else, a family to love when nobody would take you in. that meant they could never stay in one place for long, this simple batch of vaudevillians. ah well, Mr. Tall thought, moving is bitter work, but its better than letting them all suffer.

Madame sighed, leaning into Mr. Tall. "Any sign of Raksha? Or do you think he'll skip out till tomorrow night?" She lightly pinched the bridge of her nose again, thankful she had given up the habit of wearing her mask off stage, but dreading the signs of an imminent migraine. She closed her eyes and exhaled heavily, trying to push the pain out.

"None. He will most likely skip out till tomorrow." he looked at her in concern. "come. we will go to the tent so you can sleep. you look like your in pain. we can leave Evra in charge of the setup for tonight."

Madame shook her head. "Nonsense. I can manage. I've dealt with setup feeling worse than this Hibernious." She smiled up at him. "Your concern is very touching dear, but I need to keep a strong face. Besides, I won't be able to sleep till the pain passes anyway."

"alright madame. as you wish." Mr. Tall said, wishing she'd let him help her. she was to stubborn though. he knew what she was doing. she was trying to wait out for rashka. she wanted to see the responsibility in him.

Madame sighed and stood, forcing herself to stay upright as the world spun like a kaleidoscope. She scanned the madness for any hint of her fire dancer. As much as it would bother her, she knew she would have to start cracking down on him after this, make him ride with someone else, take away performance rights, something. She knew what would happen if someone else got a hold of him. She had found him as a child, he had never known another home, he didn't know the world they performed for. She sighed and felt herself fall to the ground. This time, however, she remained sitting, not willing to utterly loose face in front of her children.

"Madame. come. you need rest. you cant keep doing this to yourself." he said, picking her up. "come. i'll give you some herbs for the headache and sleep. i'll stay up and watch for Raksha." he carried her to their tent, and sat her on their bed, before grabbing some of his canisters of dry herbs. time to make a tea for Madame

Madame sighed. "Thank you Hibernious. This headache seems...worse than usual..." A few tears straggled down her face and she sighed again. "I don't know what I'm going to do with Raksha..."

"it is just the worry." he said, wiping her tears. "we all worry about our children. we will figure out our problem with Raksha. who knows, if we're lucky he may show up tonight and help show up, just have gotten lost on the way. we will figure out something madame." he kissed her, and handed her the tea he had made her.

Madame drank the tea, wincing a bit at it's bitter flavor, but feeling the pain subside fairly quickly once the tea was finished. She sighed and lay down, reaching out to grab Mr. Tall's hand. "Stay with me? Please?"

"not a problem Madame. I'll stay with you as long as you'll have me." he said, clasping her hand. he loved this, this right here, the time where they got to be alone and truly themselves. He loved his cirque, but he loved his time with the Madame much more.

Madame smiled and pulled Mr. Tall down next to her, a surprising feat for one a foot shorter than he was. "I'll always want you here Hibernious, of course. I think I proved that tonight." She smiled and lazily flashed her ring. "You know, no one's even noticed it..."
